Understanding Swinger Lingo

Being part of a swinger dating site can be fun and rewarding, but the lingo can make it pretty confusing at firstIf you’re stuck on swinger lingo, read through some of these most popular expressions that you might not understand—or some that might not mean what you think they mean.

ALL CULTURES:

A swinger couple or single into all aspects of the swinging scenes such as English/French/Greek/Roman/Swedish Culture

ENGLISH/FRENCH/GREEK/ROMAN/SWEDISH CULTURE:

English: Spanking/caning.

French: Oral sex

Greek: Anal sex

Roman: Group sex/orgies

Swedish: Deep massage

CAN TRAVEL:

You’ll mostly find this on the profiles of some people who don’t live in major metropolitan areas. Quite simply, it just means that they’re open to meeting people outside of their immediate area and don’t mind traveling to see them.

CLEAN/SAFE:

Clean refers to someone free of drugs and diseases. Safe refers to a person who cannot conceive or sire a child (a woman after having her tubes tied, a man after a vasectomy).

CLOSED-DOOR/OPEN DOOR:

Closed Door refers to swinging that happens in different rooms from partners—if you and your partner go to a swinger’s meet-up, you won’t be swinging in the same room. Open Door refers to a place you can swing in the same room as your partner.

INDOOR SPORTS:

People call swinging “indoor sports” in a polite conversation where you may be around non-swinging people.

MEET FOR PLEASURE:

A purely sexual swinging encounter where you don’t get to know the other swinger couples/single beforehand.

MORESOMES:

Sex involving more than three people.

OFF/ON-PREMISE:

On-Premise refers to a place where swinging will occur after or during social interaction. Off-Premise means that swinging can happen, but not at the exact location.

UTOPIAN:

Someone who lives swinging as a total lifestyle rather than a form of sexual activity. This person will be very enthusiastic about swinging and considers it the pinnacle of lifestyles.
